So how can we prevent cyberbullying and what can we do about it? Now, we are going to see another video. This video is by children just like you and all their stories are true. Listen to how these students dealt with their cyberbullying problem. As you watch the video, answer the questions on the anwer sheet. Stop the video when it gets to the seven minute mark.

You should always tell a trusted adult if you suspect a cyberbullying incident. You also should stand up against cyberbullying if you see someone doing it. Standing up to your friends when they are doing something wrong, however, is not always easy. What happens if a friend wants you to join her/him in cyberbullying someone? Is this okay? What happens if you tell your friend no and he/she gets angry with you? This is a tough situation to be in, so lets discuss it some more.
Lets think back to the activity you did using wordle.net. Remember you made some word clouds about the feelings you felt when you were bullied. Now, click on the link below to get back to wordle.net. You will create another word cloud, but this time you will type words that describe how having good friends makes you feel. You will have five minutes to complete this task. Don't worry about spelling. Come up with all the words you can think of. We will share our answers in class. Print out your word cloud.

Now go back to wordle.net. This time, you will make a word cloud that describes the behaviors of a bully. What are some things a bully does? You will have five minutes to complete this task. Again don't worry about spelling. Come up with as many words you can think of. Print out your word cloud when you are done.

Great job! Now, put your word clouds in your folders. We will use them during our next class.
