What to eat?
Do’s

Whole-grain foods(oatmeal, whole-grain breads)
 Pop-tarts
Lean meats, beans, tofu
 

 

Water is essential; it helps keep the brain hydrated so that it can function properly.
 
Breakfast gives you energy to start the day!

 

Sample Breakfast
  •  Small banana
  •    6-8 oz low-fat yogurt
  •  ½ whole-grain English muffin
  •    2 tablespoons of peanut butter
 
Need help to sustain energy during the day, bring a healthy snack?
 
Suggestions….
  •    Veggies with low-fat/fat-free dressing
  •     Low-fat string cheese
  •  Raisin and peanut mix
  •   Celery with peanut butter
  • Cliff bar

Stress Busters

Get enough sleep (teens need 8.5-9 hours)
